Welcome to Part Time Health

Meet the Team

As seasoned attorneys, co-founders Jennee DeVore and Alix Rosenthal have experienced the toll that demanding work environments — especially in the legal profession — can take on one’s health. From the hours spent at a desk to the constant pressures of client deadlines, they understand how easily wellbeing can be sidelined by acute stress, sleep disruptions, convenient meals, and neglect of fitness.

Driven by personal awakenings, Alix and Jennee are passionate about reshaping how employers and employees think about wellbeing. With extensive experience in simplifying complex legal concepts for clients, they are now applying their expertise to make the tools and concepts of functional medicine accessible and relatable for busy professionals.

Together, they are committed to fostering a culture that prioritizes health, and empowers their audiences to reclaim their wellbeing and improve their longevity, one practical step at a time.

They are currently offering Continuing Legal Education courses in Competence (both Wellbeing and Prevention & Detection) in the state of California.

  • Alix and Jennee’s session on heart health was a wake up call for me! They inspired me to take responsibility for my own health, advocate for myself, and have my doctor order specific blood tests that determined I am high risk and need to make lifestyle changes. I’m so grateful for their insights and their encouragement to take action.

  • Jennee and Alix are wonderful at explaining concepts that affect us all about our brain health in a fun and entertaining way! They provide tools to help us improve our brain function and develop better habits. I really enjoyed the program and the hour was over before I knew it. Jennee and Alix are great at motivating you to do more for yourself and to take steps to prevent a decline in your brain function.

  • Even though I consider myself a health-conscious person and I observe good health practices in general, Alix and Jennee’s very practical and specific presentation contained new perspectives and examples that I have added to my daily habits. I loved how they shared their own experiences!

  • "Listen to Your Heart" was one of the most impactful and accessible health presentations I’ve attended. I appreciated learning about cardiovascular tests we rarely hear about, and how simple tools I already own can help track my heart health. It's rare to find advice that’s so deeply informative without the jargon. Thank you for making heart health feel both manageable and urgent in the best way.
